Clamps Bessey from the EZ360 series are innovative tools designed with professionals in mind – however, their capabilities will certainly be appreciated by hobbyists and DIY enthusiasts as well. The devices offer maximum convenience and versatility in assembly and workshop tasks. The main purpose of the products is carpentry and joinery, but they can also be successfully used in other fields requiring woodworking, as well as plastics, and even metals.
The EZ360 series models come in four versions differing in arm length, i.e., the maximum clamping range. These are sizes 15cm, 30cm, 45cm, and 60cm. The products feature a solid construction resistant to typical loads encountered, for example, when constructing furniture, gluing boards, cutting, and milling battens, etc. The arms are made of high-quality steel, while the ergonomic handle is covered with a non-slip material. Flexible pads cover the clamp jaws along their entire depth, thereby improving grip stability. At the same time, the risk of deformation or damage to the processed elements has been minimized.
The clamping mechanism is designed to allow one-handed operation of the clamp (the other hand remains free, which facilitates material stabilization). The quick-release system allows for rapid attachment and removal of the clamp. At the same time, the tools offer precise control over the clamping force, and the pressure handle can be freely rotated around the arm axis (the advantages of this solution are presented in the attached video material).
Importantly, the presented Bessey clamps have an additional function, they can be used as a spreader. To use them in this role, simply change the orientation of the jaws. This task has been facilitated by the manufacturer through the use of locking clips with a release button.
