The TME offer now includes economical frequency converters by Schneider Electric. The products belong to the Easy Altivar 310 and Easy Altivar 610 family.
The Easy line offers cost-effective components designed for industrial automation applications. This portfolio includes, among others, signal towers (Easy Harmony), drives (Easy Lexium), PLC controllers (Easy Modicon), and Easy Altivar frequency converters, which we recommend to our customers this week.
The inverters are available in scalar and vector versions. Their settings can be adjusted via a computer or using a control panel (separate product). They feature a Modbus bus interface, as well as voltage and current outputs and digital inputs/outputs that facilitate the integration of converters into any control system. Of course, the products stand out with the typical Schneider Electric quality: the manufacturer anticipates their 10-year operation. The devices have EMC filters, can operate at temperatures up to 55°C (without parameter degradation), and withstand up to 60s overload at 150% of nominal values.
In terms of electrical parameters, the Easy Altivar group includes products generating three-phase voltage 3x400V AC (with a frequency range from 0.1Hz to 500Hz), suitable for loads from 370W to 160kW. This allows finding a solution best suited to a given installation and makes Schneider inverters an ideal choice for applications such as wood and metal processing, warehouse automation, packaging systems, textile industry machines, and many others.
