The proper selection of EMI filters ensures the harmonious operation of both devices and the installations from which they draw power. Such filters are a required component for industrial machines as well as many consumer appliances, such as household electronics. Today, we offer our customers solutions from the WG series by the well-known and respected manufacturer, TE Connectivity.
The WG filters are distinguished by their cylindrical construction. These components can operate at voltages up to 250V AC at 50Hz and 120V AC at 60Hz, i.e., the typical power grid values. The components feature 6.3mm connector terminals or 100mm long wires, allowing you to select a variant that simplifies installation in your design. The filter is mounted using a threaded M8 stud. Thanks to their universal parameters, the products can be used in many applications and are an attractive option for companies looking for cost-effective solutions. All WG filters are manufactured and tested in accordance with the IEC60939 standard for electromagnetic interference suppression.
It is worth noting the division of the presented components. WGA, WGB, and WGC versions are intended for stationary devices and comply with the standard for leakage current. Meanwhile, WGD, WGE, and WGF versions are designed for portable devices (e.g., power tools).
