MPronto-12 series of M12 connectors from Amphenol LTW

Today, we would like to introduce you to new, innovative solutions from Amphenol LTW – a truly versatile and backward-compatible range of M12 connectors.

The main strength of the MPronto-12 connectors is that they are widely compatible with industrial M12 connectors. These are Push-to-Plug, Pull-to-Unplug components, fitted with a locking mechanism which produces a tactile and audible click while mating. According to the manufacturer, using these plugs can save up to 80% of your time during installation. Their minimum service life is 500 mating cycles.

Apart from that, the MPronto-12 products are characterised by truly satisfying parameters: their voltage rating reaches up to 250 V, and they can withstand currents of up to 4 A. Moreover, they are coded (polarised) in compliance with the DeviceNet/CANopen, Profibus and Ethernet standards. It is also important to mention that these IP68-rated (i.e. highly dust-tight and waterproof) connectors have been factory-installed on 1 m to 10 m cables. The cables (in black colour) have a PVC outer jacket.

The solutions from Amphenol LTW can be used in many areas of application. This includes industrial automation, heavy machinery and warehouse equipment, along with different sectors of transport (e.g. rail and maritime). The MPronto-12 connectors are also suitable for use in hybrid vehicles.
