ECAS membership

In 2019, TME joined CEDA. China Electronics Distributors Association was a non-profit organization that brought together both local and global distributors of electronic components. 
 
In 2020, it transformed into ECAS - Electronic Components Application and Supply Chain Branch of CIITA.
 
The aim of the organization is to deepen and strengthen the relations between manufacturers and distributors operating in China and the Chinese government. ECAS supports innovative technology solutions and provides business transformation services.
 
China is one of the key players in the global electronics supply chain. Through its activities, ECAS and its affiliated companies can support market development and promote good business practices in the country.

Founded in 1995, ERAI, Inc. is a global information services organization that monitors, investigates, and reports issues affecting the global electronics supply chain. As the industry’s leading source of risk assessment tools, ERAI provides exclusive services and in-depth information that enable its members to perform industry-specific risk mitigation on suspect counterfeit, high-risk, and non-conforming parts and identify problematic suppliers and customers. The organization brings together the industry's best practices in risk mitigation, supplier selection and order screening, and has a full understanding and empathy of the challenges that face the core segments of this industry. TME has been its member since 2015.
 

SHENZHEN ELECTRONIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE membership

The SHENZHEN ELECTRONIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (SECC) is a non-profit organisation founded in 2003 that supports the development of small and medium-sized electronics and industrial enterprises in Shenzhen, China, by e.g. establishing a robust system of services that facilitate international market operations. There are more than 1600 companies in the SECC including manufacturers, distributors, research centres and business services companies. The SECC was awarded the “Shenzhen Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Public Service Demonstration Platform” title in 2018 for its achievements.
 
Shenzhen TME Electronic Trading Company Ltd. – a TME subsidiary – has been active in its local market for more than a year now. Joining SECC will let it bolster cooperation with other SECC members and drive its development in the region.

The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China was founded in 2000 by 51 member companies that shared a goal of establishing a common voice for the various business sectors of the European Union and European businesses operating in China. It is a members-driven, non-profit, fee-based organisation with a core structure of 26 Working Groups and 9 Fora representing European business in China.
 
The European Chamber now has more than 1,700 members in 7 chapters operating in 9 cities: Beijing, Nanjing, Shanghai, Shenyang, South China (Guangzhou and Shenzhen), Southwest China (Chengdu, Chongqing) and Tianjin. Each chapter is managed at the local level by local boards reporting directly to the Executive Committee
 
The Chamber is recognised by the European Commission and the Chinese Authorities as the official voice of European business in China. It is recognised as a Foreign Chamber of Commerce with the Ministry of Commerce and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
 
The European Chamber is part of the growing network of European Business Organisations (EBO). This network connects European business associations and chambers of commerce located in more than 45 third markets around the world.
