The TME catalogue now includes the OVR series of surge protective devices (arresters) manufactured by ABB.
The components are designed for DIN rail-mounting in standard distribution boxes and fuse boxes. Their task is to protect the system and connected equipment from sudden voltage spikes. The plug-in design facilitates their maintenance, as it eliminates the need to isolate the electrical circuit when replacing worn-out inserts.
The devices are fitted as standard with an end-of-life indicator. With time, the mechanical indicator changes from green to red. The arresters are available in single-phase and three-phase versions.
