ST-8802 by ATTEN is a multifunctional soldering station for service and maintenance. The maximum rated power of the soldering iron and hot air station is 65W and 800W, respectively. For the former, the user can adjust the temperature of the tip from 80°C to 480°C. For the hot air element, this range goes from 100°C to 500°C. The air flow rate is also adjustable and can be up to 120l/min.
The front panel allows the simultaneous use of hot air and soldering functions - settings are made via large buttons, while the operating parameters are displayed on a backlit LCD screen. There is also a button on the front panel to disconnect the power supply. Convenience and safety of operation is enhanced by a proximity sensor - when hot air gun placed on the stand, the station automatically switches the soldering iron to sleep mode, cutting off the air flow and power supply to the heating element.
The ST-8802 station has a number of additional functions, such as the memory function with three temperature settings (including air flow rate), self-cooling of the air volume, password protection and key lock function, and automatic detection of the connected tool. The base of the soldering iron has a cleaner compartment, built in with a metal cover, so removing oxidation from the tip can be carried out with one hand. The kit includes a 1mm conical tip and four hot air nozzles (various diameters).
