Axiomet test leads comply with the EN61010 safety standard for category 1000 V CAT III. They are 1 metre long, their conductor cross-section is 0.75 mm2 and they have been coated with silicone insulation, which exhibits good thermal resistance and excellent flexibility for better comfort of work.
All products are fitted with 4 mm banana plugs at one end – they can come in either straight or angled format – with an insulating sleeve to improve connection safety. At the opposite end, plugs in the same format (for connecting various accessories such as probes or crocodile clips) or probes are placed. You can choose between compact probes and probes coated with anti-slip plastic. Selected models have a removable cap on the tip (which leaves the very end of the probe exposed), which ensures protection against accidental short-circuiting of test leads when taking measurements between points situated in close proximity (e.g. between leads of SMD components). What is more, in the AX-TLS-007S model, such a cap has been integrated into the handle and can be pulled down onto it by using a conveniently placed slider.
All plugs used in Axiomet cables feature an additional insulating sleeve, which improves the safety of the connection. This is of key importance as the products presented here are designed for use in mains electrical systems and can handle dangerous currents of up to 10 A.
