Bulgin ROCKER power switch

This week, we’d like to recommend to you a miniature rocker switch (“tumbler switch”) supplied by Bulgin, a manufacturer which is known for its high-quality electro-mechanical components.

The AE-H8553VBNAC switch is a rocker switch. It features connector leads (4.8 mm) for quick wiring, which facilitates the maintenance and manufacture of machines, control panels, etc. The switch mounting hole dimensions are 12.9 mm by 19.1...19.8 mm – this standard design lets you use it, e.g. as a replacement part. Despite its rather small size, the component boasts high electrical performance: it is capable of conducting currents of up to 10 A at 250 V AC (DPST contact configuration). The switch actuator has rounded edges and is illuminated by a green neon lamp.

Moreover, the product can be fitted with an AE-F0167LOAAA cover, i.e. a protective cap, which results in high resistance to water splashes (from the front). This makes the components suitable for use in, e.g. the heavy industry, automotive industry or water transport, although the full range of possible applications for this type of a switch is, of course, much broader, including audio/video equipment, white goods, power tools and many more.
