CHB series of DC/DC converters by CINCON

The CHB converters are available in a wide range of power ratings, from 50 W up to 350 W. They are designed for THT (through-hole technology) mounting. Their body dimensions vary between 57.9x61x12.7 mm and 57.9x61x13.2 mm. They are fitted with all key protections, such as: Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP) and Over Temperature Protection (OTP). Their operating temperature spans between -40°C and 100°C. The input voltage for the CHB series of converters ranges from 9 V to 425 V DC (depending on the model), usually with a 2:1 ratio between the minimum and maximum value. Their output voltage can reach anything from 5 V to 48 V DC, while their output current varies between 1.78 A and 70 A. It is worth noting that with these components you can adjust the output voltage within ±10% of the nominal value. The efficiency of these converters ranges between 82.5% and 92.5%.

CINCON’s CHB products can be applied in IT, industrial, medical and illumination systems. Owing to their high efficiency, they will also do well in electric vehicles. What is more, some models have been manufactured in compliance with the EN50155 standard covering the shock and vibration requirements for railway applications. Moreover, these converters can be used in information technology systems, as they meet the requirements of the IEC/EN/UL60950 safety standard. Additionally, the manufacturer has made sure to achieve a very high reliability of the components. CINCON estimates their Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) to be 1000000 (million) hours of operation at full load.
