The TME offer now includes the new PV2 series of vandal-resistant switches manufactured by the US company E-SWITCH.
The switches are characterised by their high-quality workmanship and a long service life. Thanks to their IP65 rating, they offer resistance to dust and water ingress. This means they can be used in harsh environmental conditions, even outdoors (as they are characterised by a thermal tolerance ranging from -20°C to 55°C).
The pushbuttons of these switches come in three variants: flat, protruding or convex. The components are mounted in a 16 mm diameter cut-out, in 1 to 6 mm thick panels. The PV2 series is designed for DC circuits, i.e. typical applications where such switches are commonly used: elevator control panels, food vending machines, ticket machines, intercoms, doorbells, etc. It should be noted that applications of E-SWITCH products also include industrial machines, where high robustness and a sealed, hygienic metal body design play a significant role. The long service life of the switches is also a major advantage: their mechanical durability is 1000000 switching cycles, while the electrical durability is at least 200000 cycles.
All PV2 switches feature a SPST NO contact configuration, i.e. the circuit is normally open. Connection is made using solderable leads or screw terminals (depending on the model).
