The current TME offer includes a number of products by E-SWITCH, a recognised manufacturer of high-quality switches. The supplier's products are used in a variety of applications: from industry to transport and public utility equipment.
An example of E-SWITCH solutions with a wide range of applications are the PV6 series two-position vandal-resistant switches. These products are characterised by exceptional durability (approximately 200,000 mechanical cycles) and various LED illumination colours (RGB, blue or green). They are designed for panel mounting in a 16 mm diameter hole. The advantages of the products include a small body diameter and easy installation thanks to the leads designed for soldering – these features make it possible to install the switches in hard-to-reach places. All the PV6 series products feature one stable position and SPST-NO contact configuration.
The silver-plated switch contacts offer a load capacity of 2 A/48 V DC (maximum resistance: 50 mΩ), thanks to which they can be used in most typical control applications. In addition, the components display IP65 ingress protection rating and can operate in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 55°C or even 70°C (depending on the model).
The manufacturer recommends the PV6 series products for installation in devices such as vending machines, ticket machines, industrial machine controllers, medical equipment, as well as consumer devices (especially including white goods).
