Wall-mounted ARCA enclosures by Fibox

FIBOX is a Finnish company with more than 50 years of experience, one of the leading manufacturers of plastic enclosures in the world. In 1966, products of this brand were the first polycarbonate (PC) enclosures introduced to the market. This innovation has opened a new era in the construction of electrical switchboard cabinets. Since then, the FIBOX product range has been continuously expanding, and the growing exports have resulted in the rapid development of the company that continues until today.

The ARCA series is one of the main product groups in the Fibox portfolio. It is characterised by high durability (IK08 or IK10 impact resistance) and excellent protection (up to IP66) of the components housed inside of it. Moreover, these are enclosures known for the ease of mounting and operation. The enclosure doors are equipped with locks. Inside the enclosure, there are bushings that facilitate non-invasive mounting of electronic devices, mounting panels, etc.

The ARCA series is an excellent and affordable alternative to metal cabinets, often used outdoors and in locations with challenging environmental conditions. Fibox products combine the advantages of metal solutions with significant benefits resulting from the use of polycarbonate – such as a relatively small weight or easy mechanical processing (e.g. for the installation of cable glands or pass-throughs). Furthermore, plastics do not shield the devices placed inside, allowing them to be used in in the protection of IoT circuits utilising wireless communication (e.g. remote sensors and controllers equipped with LoRa modules).
