USB connectors are gradually becoming the newest standard for wired communication between computers and mobile devices. They are used not only for connecting computer peripherals (mouse, printers), but also power supplies, audio accessories and even monitors. At the same time, due to miniaturisation, manufacturers often reduce the number of ports that are built into devices. This is the case with smartphones and tablets, which are usually equipped with a single port, as well as laptops, where you can find models with only two connectors. USB hubs by Gembird are a perfect solution when you do not have enough USB ports in you computer. Gembird USB hubs are available in two colours: black and grey. They are compact, handy and will easily fit into the smallest pocket of a bag or backpack. They can support the USB 2.0 standard and the more modern and faster USB 3.1, thanks to which transferring a gigabyte-sized file takes literally a few seconds. Products offering from 2 to 10 ports are connected using an older USB A plug or the latest generation connector, i.e. USB C. The latter has been a mandatory standard in European Union countries for some time now, so you can be sure that the hub will be compatible with even the newest equipment. Moreover, some of the presented devices are fitted with an integrated SD memory card reader. All hubs are supplied with a connection cable which can be from 0.12 m to 0.8 m long.
