The ability to adjust tension, which translates into dependable consistency, and to automatically cut off the excess of the cable tie are the most noteworthy functions of the cable tie gun. The tension is adjusted by means of a knob with a clearly labelled tension adjustment value stated at the rear of the tool (as shown in the photo). Proper tension adjustment ensures durable fastening of the cable while reducing the risk of damaging the insulation. After the cable tie is tensioned, the excess is cut off, flush with the head, to avoid sharp edges, which occur when cable ties are cut off with cutting pliers or a knife.
