The TME catalogue now includes a range of power sockets and connectors by Lutronic. These are 02 series products, made in the form of round connectors in size 28.
The products presented here are equipped with 2 or 3 gold-plated contacts, thanks to which they can handle voltages of up to 500 V and currents rated at 43 A or 50 A (depending on the model). The connectors come in the form of plugs and sockets. The former are designed for installation on cables with a diameter ranging from 17 mm to 20.5 mm – the components are also fitted with cable glands, so that, when fully assembled, they achieve an IP67 rating (full dust-proof and resistant to water jets). The sockets are panel-mounted using five holes – a central hole, accommodating the body, and four auxiliary holes, to which the metal flange is attached using the supplied screws. Moreover, the sockets are equipped with a plastic protective cap to prevent contamination of their inside.
All 02 series products feature a Quicklock locking latch, which prevents paired connectors from being disconnected unless the latch release lever is pressed. This allows the sockets and plugs to be used not only in harsh environments, but also in areas where connections will be subjected to vibration or shock, which coincides with the requirements of many industrial applications.
