G9KA is a series of electromagnetic relays which boast very low contact resistance of only 0.2 mΩ. The contact resistance is a highly crucial feature in terms of high-power relays. Its value influences heat generation inside the component, which in turn affects its service life. What is more, the contact resistance shouldn’t go up as the relay is used. The G9KA design makes it possible to keep the resistance on the same level even after 30 000 switching cycles.
The G9KA relays are very economical. For the rated voltage, the coil’s power consumption value reaches 5 W.However, the power can be reduced to 1.012 W through lowering the holding voltage by 45% or through employing the PWM signal. Relays have many applications in inverters which operate in photovoltaic or industrial UPS systems. Their contacts are suited to voltages reaching 600 V DC and currents of even 50 A.
The components are available in versions for direct THT mounting in PCB circuits or for panel mounting. The customers can also choose models with a coil that is suitable to operate with voltages of 12 V or 24 V DC. In each case, relays feature SPST contacts (NO).
