LEDs can be found in a variety of devices, in which they serve as indicators and light sources. They are easy-to-use and energy-efficient components that allow you to check instantaneously the status of digital circuit inputs & outputs, they can also come in handy as the simplest signalling method applied in the development of prototypes of circuits fitted with microcontrollers, logic gates and other logic components. In view of this popularity, we have just introduced LED kits by OPTOSUPPLY to the TME catalogue of products.
OPTOSUPPLY kits contain from 30 to 560 components. The most basic ones feature single-colour LEDs (or a selection of several colours), while the more complex ones can also consist of current-limiting resistors matched to the LED parameters, as well as pre-cut heat shrink tubes and mounting clips (for fixing LEDs in panel openings). These optoelectrical components are available in red, blue, orange, green and yellow colours; in two-colour (red/blue and red/green) and three-colour (classic RGB) variants; as well as in various shades of white, with a colour temperature ranging from 2700K to 18000K (from very warm, yellowish, to very cold, bluish).
The kits can be applied in prototyping. They will also prove useful in electronics hobbyists’ workshops. The kits are supplied in convenient plastic boxes equipped with compartments to keep your components well organised and easy to find. A label on the lid of the box lists the basic parameters of each type of LED included in the kit, which will make your work even easier and reduce the risk of confusion.
