The TME offer now includes GX-300 series of inductive proximity sensors with IO-Link support by Panasonic.
The sensors are housed in metal enclosures (nickel-plated brass or stainless steel) that provide IP67 rating (the components are fully waterproof and dustproof). The enclosures are threaded and come in M5, M8, M12, M18 and M30 sizes; their length varies from 25.1 mm to 82.3 mm. Available options include components with protruding or flush front. Sensor connection is made using a pre-installed 2 m cable, a 0.3 m cable with M12 connection or a standard M12 industrial plug (depending on the model). Panasonic components are equipped with an operation indicator that is visible from any direction, which facilitates the correct adjustment of the sensor in hard-to-reach areas.
The GX-300 series products are available with standard or extended (up to 24 mm) sensing range. Such parameters minimise the risk of collision and sensing error. Thanks to their short activation time and high operating frequency (up to 4 kHz), they are a perfect fit for applications requiring fast and pinpoint detection. The components feature PNP NO or NC transistor outputs designed for operation in industrial systems with IO-Link support. Their required power supply voltage spans from 10 V to 30 V DC. The maximum switched current for these models is 100 mA or 200 mA.
