The PLASTIM PTF fan series is designed to provide forced air circulation in control cabinets. The purpose of this process is to improve the thermal conditions inside the cabinet, which translate into the proper operation and durability of various devices and components, especially current inverters and controllers.
The PTF fans are distinguished by their versatility (they can be used in the majority of standard applications) and resistance to diverse environmental conditions: temperature (from -10°C to 70°C), dust and humidity (the units are IP54 rated). The fans operate at the standard mains voltage, i.e. 50Hz – 60Hz 230 V AC – and their connection is made using pre-installed cables or connectors (depending on the model, as specified in the table below).
Another advantage of the PTF fans are standard mounting hole dimensions, starting at 92x92 and reaching 291x291 mm. PLASTIM units offer an air flow rate ranging from 30 m3/h up to 850 m3/h. They are supplied with a finger guard (fitted with a gasket). In addition, the TME catalogue also features consumables and spare parts for these products, e.g. PFM filters and PFI finger guards.
The PLASTIM fans are an optimum solution supplied by a proven, specialist manufacturer. They are perfectly suited to most typical applications in control cabinets found in the field of automation, power supply, monitoring, industrial computers and even equipment installed in public spaces (e.g. control panels).
