The TME offer now includes miniature step-up converters by Pololu. The dimensions of these products are only 15.2mmx15.2mm, and their weight is as low as 1.5g. The start-up voltage is 2.7V, and then the input voltage can be reduced to the rated minimum of 1.3V. The converters are equipped with an overtemperature protection.
The products are ideal for battery-powered circuits, they allow to adjust low supply voltage, such as that supplied by a single lithium-ion cell, to the level required by electric motors or LED arrays. The small size of the PCB makes it possible to mount the converter vertically, using the supplied pin header connectors (THT). Another highlight of these devices is their very low power consumption at no-load – only 2mA. The product's terminals are clearly labelled at the back of the circuit. In addition, it features an EN function (enable) for activating the converter using a remote signal.
