The TME catalogue has been expanded to include Qoltec accessories, designed for connecting SSDs via USB. The new product selection is divided into two groups: hard drive enclosures and docking stations. All of the products showcased here are Plug & Play devices, which means they do not need additional drivers to operate properly, and will be recognized as soon as they are connected to the computer.
The enclosures are designed for M.2 and (in selected cases) SATA drives. They are compliant with the USB 3.1 standard, thanks to which they provide fast data transfer speeds (up to 10 Gb/s), which in turn makes it possible to use the SSD as a portable storage device. The bodies of these accessories are made of aluminium, so they are light and offer excellent heat dissipation, ensuring optimal temperature control of the drive even during prolonged and intensive use.
Docking stations are typically used for two purposes: to make/restore large data backups or to upload clean operating system images in the manufacture or refurbishment of various devices. This is often done in service shops, after replacing damaged memory in laptops or portable games consoles. What is more, the QOLTEC-52274 station has two M.2 slots and allows convenient automatic data copying between memories (with a maximum capacity of 4 TB). This function is activated by a special button located on the body.
The enclosures and stations are equipped with USB C connectors and they come with an adapter with a USB A plug. Thanks to that, the device is ready to go as soon as it is unpacked ‒ regardless of the type of a computer it will be connected to.
