New selection of ROSA 3D filaments

ROSA 3D is a brand of 3D printing filaments which belongs to ROSA PLAST. The company was established in 1979. Throughout the last few decades, its range has evolved to include products intended for state-of-the-art production methods, and eventually branched out into the ever-growing sector of 3D printing filaments. In 2022, ROSA PLAST made significant investment in the filament manufacturing facilities and has been expanding the portfolio of ROSA 3D products since then.

3D printing has quickly gained popularity on global markets and is now commonly used in at least two fields: prototyping and construction of small-scale projects, from model building to small manufacturing facilities. This technology allows for quick testing of different design solutions, even the highly complex ones. It is also utilised as an educational tool used for constructing illustrative models.

The range of ROSA 3D products which has just been added to the TME catalogue mainly comprises filaments with the most popular diameter of 1.75 mm. The products come in a variety of colours and materials (and, consequently, thermal parameters). Apart from solid-colour filaments (available in a large number of different colour variants) in a matte, pearly or velvet finish, the manufacturer offers a choice of semi-transparent, metallic and wooden-like (with irregular pattern) filaments. The offer also includes spools of ROSA-FLEX 85A and ROSA-FLEX 96A filaments, which exhibit high flexibility and adhesion, and a wide choice of ABS, PLA or PET-G filaments. Selected models have been made from ASA, a material which displays increased resistance to weather conditions, e.g. exposure to UV radiation (sunlight).

The ROSA 3D filaments can be used in devices in which the hotend temperature varies from 170°C to 295°C, depending on the model. The temperature of the printer bed may range from 30°C to 120°C.
