USB automotive power supplies, also classified as chargers, by Savio are among the most popular accessories used by drivers. By connecting these devices to a cigarette lighter socket, you get USB sockets for charging your smartphone or dashcam. Even for vehicles which already have such sockets installed by the manufacturer, they are an excellent addition, as they can provide power supply for the growing number of devices that take advantage of the possibilities offered by the USB standard.
The Savio products that are available from TME provide one or two USB sockets, compatible with the Quick Charge 2.0 and 3.0 standards. This means that they can be used for charging devices with increased currents (up to 3 A), but they can also deliver non-standard (for a regular USB) voltage, from 3.6 V to 12 V DC. Of course, the voltage value is each time negotiated with the consumer, so any connected device is safe. Thanks to such wide compatibility, even large mobile devices can be charged.
In addition, all Savio chargers are equipped with many safeguard features, such as overload protection (OLP), overvoltage protection (OVP), short-circuit protection (SCP) or overtemperature protection (OTP), which not only protect electronic equipment, but also extend the life of the chargers themselves. In terms of their exterior design, it should be emphasised that the chargers come in two colours: black and white, also in a version equipped with an LED indicator.
