The TME catalogue includes a wide range of test connectors, used both in laboratory equipment and in systems developed for the needs of specific workstations. Among the products available as a part of this range, there are 4-millimetre, panel-mounted sockets from the Swiss manufacturer Staubli. Such components are commonly known as banana connectors (with an additional insulating sleeve).
These accessories belong to the23.3060 series and are compliant with CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 600 V standards. They exhibit high current parameters – the sockets may be used at a voltage of 1 kV and a current of up to 32 A (rated current). The sockets are available with brass and gold-plated connectors and solderable leads. High quality of the insulating material is guaranteed by its UL94 V-0 compliance. Typically, the sockets are mounted by being placed and clamped inside pre-drilled plates made of plastic, metal etc. The mounting hole diameter is 12.2 mm. They are manufactured in various colours, which makes them fit for power supply, measurement, and protection applications, both more and less common ones. Available body colours include: white, brown, black, red, purple, blue, grey, green, yellow-green (protective, GND), and yellow.
