New switches by ITW Lumex Switch available at TME

We’re pleased to announce that the range of switches by ITW Lumex Switch available in the TME catalogue has just been expanded. Our offer now includes pushbutton switches designed for DC circuits.

The new switches are available in standard and vandal-resistant variants (with increased mechanical resistance). The former are IP67-rated (front face of the pushbutton), while in the case of the latter, the rear part of the switch body also offers an IP67 rating. They are panel-mounted in a 12.25 mm to 16.15 mm diameter hole (depending on the model). Available contact configurations include SPDT and SPST-NO, with one or two stable positions. In terms of electrical parameters, the voltage range for all the products presented here spans from 12 V to 28 V DC, with current rating reaching even up to 5 A (selected models). For numerous applications, an important feature of the products is their wide thermal tolerance, which can reach even from -55°C to 125°C, as well as the high durability of the silver-plated or gold-plated contacts (up to 500,000 cycles).

The switches are available with round, spherical plastic buttons in the white, black, red, blue and green colour. The vandal-resistant models also come in a version with a metal button with a flat face. Such switches are used, among others, in office and public utility equipment (lifts, ticket machines, dispatchers) and control panels for heavy and industrial machinery.
