PCB-mount trimmers are used in a wide range of applications, from industrial equipment to consumer goods. In order to ensure the durability of the end product while simultaneously reducing the cost of its components, manufacturers often look for highly standardised and therefore cheaper solutions. The G32 and G43 trimmers incorporate a cermet resistive track. They are sealed in a plastic case with leads designed for surface-mounting directly on a PCB (SMD). In order to satisfy various needs, variants with parallel or perpendicular orientation in relation to the PCB surface are available at TME. The pins of these components are spaced at 3.2x4.6 mm; 3.2x6 mm; 3.7x5.2 mm; 4x6.8 mm or 4x8 mm.
The G32 and G43 trimmers are rated at 125 mW and 250 mW, respectively and their maximum operating voltage is up to 200 V DC. They come in versions with the maximum resistance ranging from 100 Ω to 100 kΩ and their resistance taper is linear.
