In its early days, under the name Trend Communications, the company, established in 1965, was a manufacturer of test equipment for telecommunications. For almost four decades, it has brought numerous innovations to the market, including telegraph testers, telex machines, data transmission analysers, and ISDN testers. In 2004, Trend Communications was acquired by IDEAL Industries and later became part of IDEAL Networks, which in turn changed its name to Trend Networks in 2021.
