DIN rail-mounted DC power supplies are enjoying unflagging popularity. They are a convenient solution for implementing industrial and home automation circuits in classic switchgears. Precision devices can also be used to supply ICT infrastructure components.
The AIMTEC power supplies presented here are available in standard formats, so they will fit into most common switchboxes (most products can even be used in consumer fuse systems). The products are equipped with single outputs from 4.5V to 48V DC and it is possible to fine-tune the voltage at an accuracy of a few percent of each model’s rated value. The models available from the TME catalogue offer maximum power rating ranging from 15W to 120W and exhibit low power consumption at no-load, which for selected components does not exceed 0.4W. The products are equipped with a range of protections (overload, overvoltage, short-circuit, overtemperature) to safeguard both the PSU units and the connected electrical loads. A key feature of the devices is their wide thermal tolerance ranging from as low as -40°C to 70°C, achieved, among other things, thanks to the use of convection cooled metal enclosures.
An additional advantage of these products is the range of supply voltages, adapted to all standard mains parameters, regardless of the world region (90...264V AC).
